Agent Control Lab · reproducible harness
Two agents. Each reads every system it can see. Each correctly concludes its action fits under the $1,000 ceiling. Both are right. The total is $1,100.
Every figure below is produced by a test that asserts it before writing it down.
100% of runs breach up to a 75 ms gap; 20% at 100 ms; none beyond 125 ms. The cliff is the agent's own read-check-write duration.
Arm C breached 5 of 5 runs at $1,100 — reading before acting every time. Arm D, same model plus the authority, stayed clean 5 of 5.
At 10, 50 and 100 concurrent agents the authority grants exactly ten and exactly one thousand dollars. Not approximately.
Three end with the business state wrong. Two of those three are invisible to every signal the system emits.
